5 seconds
October 01, 09
This last weekend, Arlington Fire Combat competed in the Firefighter Combat Challenge in Tyler, TX. 2 months ago, we knocked off the rust from the last year in Aluts,OK and I shaved off 1 second from my Personal Record from 2:15 to 2:14. With this somewhat disappointing finish, my team and I got our minds right and trained harder than ever.
We started on the Cellucor Extreme Muscle Growth System. I’ve been on it for 5 weeks now personally, and I feel stronger and faster than ever. But the results are really measured by the clock; this week in the individual competition I ran a 2:09. That is FIVE seconds off my PR! I know I can do even better next month in Arlington due to a few mistakes made this time. Next, more training, more training, more training! Additionally, our relay team set not one, but TWO PRs. In the first elimination round we ran a 1:30.39 which shaved of a second and a half off of our previous PR. The Second elimination round, we shaved off another second with a 1:29.16! Overall a very successful weekend in tyler where we set 8 PRs, and qualified for the worlds finals in Las Vegas in 4 categories. Cellucor helps me get my results, and we’ll see how those results get better and better in Arlington Oct. 30,31!
