Offseason Motivation

It’s that time of the year again that I dread the most: the Christmas holiday season!

I should be saying this with great excitement, as it is going to be Christmas, and who doesn’t like Christmas? – I personally love the winter holidays. It’s a time where I get to enjoy the company of my family and friends. Time away from the busy life and time to appreciate good times, good foods, and good drinks! However, with this time also comes my will to want to just let myself fall into the same routine as each year, and completely fall off the wagon, giving myself an excuse to “just enjoy life” and not worry about every calorie that goes into my body. Because, after all, I am a personal trainer and a professional figure athlete, right?

The reason that I should stay on track, not miss my workouts and keep an eye on my calorie consumption is because this is what I preach for a living! My goal is to help people not fall off the wagon. Otherwise, I don’t believe that I would be setting a great example as a fitness role model.

So this year I have decided to set up my own ‘Holiday Survival Guide’ for getting through the holidays without weight gain. This HSG will be featured in the December’s WBFF newsletter. I am excited to have my own monthly section in the WBFF’s newsletter where I’ll be sharing any and all kinds of fitness, nutrition, stage and competition tips with readers around the world.

You can bet I will be posting my HSG with all Cellucor readers as well, so look for it here.
