No Excuses!

There’s not enough time in the day. The gym is too far from work and where I live. I can’t find a babysitter. I’m broke and can’t afford a gym membership. You name it. There are a million different, so-called “reasons” why you can’t exercise. Stop making excuses and just make it happen! Your health should be your priority. So, have fun with it.
I know there are challenges that we all face. Life is never the smooth ride we’d like it to be. However, when we exercise and have activity throughout the day, it relieves stress, makes you happier and allows you to give more to others.
There’s a Fitness Friend of mine that’s a great role model. Shawna Markham is a 41 year old WBFF Figure competitor, business owner, personal trainer and mother of 6 beautiful children. You’d think of anyone who could say they don’t have the time or can’t find a babysitter, it would be her. In her world, that’s just not how it goes. She pushes herself with her business as well as her own training and makes clean eating a way of life. Not only do her children benefit from the way she carries herself, the people around her are also inspired and motivated by her contagious energy!
Soon, I’ll be moving to the United States is going to be a consuming yet amazing life changing experience. James and I plan to visit a gym in each city that we stop in. It’s a great way for us to do something together and get our workouts done. Plus, it’ll give us a chance to get out of the car to move around!
Make exercise and healthy activities a way of life for you instead of something you feel like you have to do. Once you feel empowered with fitness, you’ll want to share the wealth.
