Another GREAT SHOWING. 3rd in Model America and 4th in Ms. Bikini America

Wow, what a fun and great show! I am so thrilled to be able to come back home with 2 more trophies in hand! Thank you to my TEAM. Thank you Doss, Manish, Mickey, and all of my Cellucor family! I know you all support and believe me more than anyone.

It was a tough show again with over 600 competitors and unbelievable talent on the stage. I felt nervous for some reason this time and was super excited to get back on stage to redeem myself. When the preliminary judging for Bikini Friday morning arrived I changed some of my theme wear for the sportswear round. It was to honor my baby brother who died of advanced heart disease this past March. I wore an all red angel costume (red is the representing color for heart disease) along with a prop cut out in the shape of a heart with “Heart Disease….does not care how old you are.” I also wore a picture of him and his age listed at 27, telling everyone to get checked for this very preventable disease. I loved the fact that I was able to represent him and be able to show people that it can happen to you no matter how old you are. Prejudging went well but was a long, long morning! I had a 2 hour break by the time we were finished and had to go down to get ready for the Model Prelims.

Again, I wore red representing heart disease in my Club-wear/ Cocktail Dress and the same theme wear as I did for bikini, by the time we finished for the night it was after 10:30pm. It all made for a long day starting with that 5am wake up call to start hair and makeup.

The next morning we got an extra hour of sleep and it all started over again. As all 42 girls were introduced for my bikini class I was feeling a little unsure of myself and was just praying that my number was called. They announced 7 and then I heard it, #244….I made it!! To the top 10! Then we all walked again in our sportswear and bikini again. As we all waited so patiently, I was stressing! Finally, they called us back out for awards. They announced 5th place (so happy for my good friend Brendy) and then 4th place, #244- yep that was my number again! Excited and thrilled to make the top 5!!! Not satisfied completely however, I wanted that 1st place finish. I most certainly can’t complain about 5th place though, I am elated with my results!

Model America finals were to begin less than an hour later, or so we thought. We had a long delay to get some publicity shots done for Fitness America and that made me even more anxious. We were so excited to start our initial walk outs with our male models and then on to actual judging in our bikinis. There was a gorgeous panel of 49 girls and the pressure was on. When my time came I walked the stage in a custom Passion Fruit Designs bikini (also in honor of my brother) that I felt unbelievable in, thank you Berns!!! Then, more waiting and waiting, and WAITING!

Finally they called all the female models to the stage. Again I felt nervous and unsure of myself. They called out each girl individually and then the top 10. They called 8 girls, then #244… that’s me! Again, I am thrilled and cannot wait to hear who the top 5 are. 5th place, then 4th place, then…#244! I finished 3rd place! Thank you Fitness America and Louis Zwigg and the entire staff and all the judges who thought I deserved to stand up there in the top 5 of both Bikini and Model.

Thank you all so much for believing in me and supporting me through this entire year. I pray everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and I look forward to this next year. 2010 here we come, TEAM CELLUCOR BABY!
